All renters & vehicle operators must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license.

That depends on the season.
For Snowmobiling:
You’ll want to arrive in adequate winter clothing to ensure you’ll stay warm throughout your ride. We recommend winter socks, warm layers, water proof gloves, a wind resistant winter jacket, snow pants, winter boots, a winter hat, and a balaclava. A helmet is provided with your rental, but it is recommended to bring your own if you have one so you are most comfortable.
For SXS & Slingshots:
We recommend wearing pants & long sleeves with closed toe shoes to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. A neck gaiter or bandana is also recommended for dust, to wear beneath your helmet (helmet and goggles are always provided). You’ll want to arrive prepared for whatever weather Mother Nature throws at you; bug spray, sunscreen, raincoat, and a warm layer.

Short answer; No.
Long answer; Each of our rental vehicles are seasonal. While the durations of the seasons depend on Mother Nature, they typically look like this:
Snowmobile Season: Early/Mid January through Mid-March
SXS/Slingshot Season: Mid/End May through Nov 1st

No, due to insurance purposes; our snowmobiles, SXS, & Slingshots all must leave each property via the trail (or in the Slingshot’s case; the road).
If you are interested in having one of our vehicles delivered to you, we can arrange that based on staff availability. Call us at 207-528-299 to have a delivery quoted.

Yes!
You can get to the Allagash Ghost Trains via Snowmobile in the winter. You can find map if you visit Bowlin Matagamon Shin Pond Snowmobile Club’s Website here.
As of right now, there is NO UTV/ATV access to the Ghost Trains - but you can still visit them in the Summer & Fall seasons. It’s recommended to bring a Jeep or Pickup Truck, as a high-clearance vehicle is required for approximately 40 miles of the trip.
You can find directions here.
